Seiko Quartz Chronograph
My search for an affordable watch that "looked a bit like the wonderful Porsche Design Chrono 1" ended up here, with a Seiko bought from eBay for under £50.
It's got the layout I was looking for, with:
- sub-dials at 12, 6 and 9
- date window at 3
- no numerals around the main dial !
It came on a steel bracelet, but I replaced this with a leather strap for comfort.
Being quartz, I can wear it off and on (swapping with the Casio) and it keeps great time. A bit smarter than the G-Shock, I tend to wear this to work when I'm in a suit.
